We are fully aware of the fact that there are many people coming to Copenhagen from abroad and looking for a affordable place to stay overnight and the weekends. We have a list of Hotels and Hostels here on the website, but we encourage also the local bboys and bgirls within their possibilities to offer a place to stay. In anycase, you can either use our guestbook here on the site or our Facebook page to get connected.
Qualifications for Poland and the UK have just been confirmed – both will happen on the 25th of February. The polish will happen in the city of Krakow – the english in London. For all details and updates go to international eliminations.
We regret to inform you, that the german qualification, that was supposed to happen on the 25th of february in Cologne, has been cancelled. The reason for this is lack of funding from sponsors. There will not be a qualification in Germany this year, which is really sad – Germany was the first country where we held an international qualification in 2007, and it has been a tradition ever since. We hope that many crews from Germany will find their way to Denmark to qualify at the main event.

The ticket sales for Floor Wars has started - get yours now! As we already announced, Floor Wars 2012 will be a 2-day event, and we have added some really cool new battles. On Friday the 16th, we will host the first ever Scandinavian elimination for R-16. This will be a 1vs1 b-boy battle where the winner will go to compete atthe world finals in Korea. Dancers from outside of scnadinavia can enter the battle as well. And yes, we’ve seen the writing on the wall and joined the all-style-battle trend: At the same time of the 1vs1 b-boy battle, we are hosting a 1vs1 all style battle – the winner will go to Montreal to represent in the annual Just For Laughs all style battle. Saturday remains the same with footwork, toprock, eliminations and main battles. For the full program, go to the timetable.
As you may have noticed, the price for the ticket on Saturday has gone up 30 DKK (4€). We have kept the same price for entrance since 2005, but it’s simly not possible anymore, if we want to keep the same high level of quality (and that’s what’s most important to us!). Prices on rent of venue, food, hotels etc. have gone up, and we are forced to adjust to this. We hope you understand, and we can guarantee you another high quality and improved event.

For the first time, we will have a Floor Wars in Russia on the 18th of February 2012 in the city of Voronezh for all russian and ukrainian crews. The German elimination is set for the 25th of February 2012, once again in the city of Cologne. The elimination in Italy is on the 28th of January in Brescia, for Italian, Balkan, Swiss and Austrian crews. For more info and updates, check out international eliminations.
The korean qualification for Floor Wars was won by Fusion Mind Killer, who were up against Drifterz in the final. The crew is young, consisting of members from the new generation of Gamblers Crew – Fusion Mind Killer is still a relatively unknown crew, but with a huge potential and talent. The first qualification battle for the 2012-edition of Floor Wars will be in Korea on the 9th of October… we’re anxious to see who will represent Korea next year, since the Koreans are heavy players on the worldwide scene and frequently winning titles at international battles.
