This weekend we had for the first time a qualifier for the United Kingdom, being held in at Pimlico Accademy in central London. 27 Crews have been battling it out over the day, all keen to put the UK on the bboying map and representing their scene in the finals here in Copenhagen, Denmark in March. It was very refreshing to see young and very capable talent stepping up and we are sure that we’re going to see more of them in the years to follow. The winners of the night were Soul Mavericks from London thou, who had to meet their own crew mates in the finals as they split up in several groups. This doesn’t mean they didn’t had a tough competition thou, making their way to the finals.

The winning crews from the Russian and American qualifications are MF KIDZ from Florida, and TATANAKA from Ukraine – two very strong teams, who will surely bring the heat to cold Denmark!

The winner og Floor Wars France 2012 are last years winners Melting Force from St.Etienne. Those of you who were at the finals in 2011 surely remember the battle between Melting Force and Otokogi from Japan, which was one of the most intense battles of the night. Coming  up this Saturday, the 11th of February, we will have the french qualification in the city of Macon – check International Eliminations for details.

…. are De Klan from Rome, who will represent in Copenhagen at the world finals. About 35 crews entered the battle, and the level was once again very high. Thanks to DJ Uragunn and Bboy Nagasakiy for doing a great job organizing the event. Trailer will be posted very soon….

We are fully aware of the fact that there are many people coming to Copenhagen from abroad and looking for a affordable place to stay overnight and the weekends. We have a list of Hotels and Hostels here on the website, but we encourage also the local bboys and bgirls within their possibilities to offer a place to stay. Qualifications for Poland and the UK have just been confirmed –  both will happen on the 25th of February.  The polish will happen in the city of Krakow – the english in London. For all details and updates go to international eliminations.

We regret to inform you, that the german qualification, that was supposed to happen on the 25th of february in Cologne, has been cancelled. The reason for this is lack of funding from sponsors. There will not be a qualification in Germany this year, which is really sad – Germany was the first country where we held an international qualification in 2007, and it has been a tradition ever since. We hope that many crews from Germany will find their way to Denmark to qualify at the main event.
