Yesterday, the official qualification for all UK crews took place in Newport, Wales. The winners were Next Dope Alliance from Birmingham, who defeated last yers winners Soul Mavericks in the finals. Thanks to everyone, organizers, dancers, DJs, judges who helped making Floor Wars UK a dope event….

On Saturday the 24th of November, there will be a qualification battle for all teams from England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales at the Riverfront Theatre in Newport, Wales. Winning team will represent the UK at the world finals in Denmark in March 2013. For more info go to international eliminations.

Last sunday, the first edition of Floor Wars Brazil took place in Goiania. The level was incredibly high, with style, power, creativity and musicality at it’s best. The final was won by Funk Fockers from Sao Paolo, who will represent their country in Denmark next year.

We’re already busy preparing the international eliminations for the 2013 edition of Floor Wars. First elimination will be in Brazil on the 12th and 13th of October. This is the first elimination in Brazil and South America ever, so we’re really excited! Check international eliminations for more info.

Natural Effects did it again – the danish b-boy crew took the title as the winners of Floor Wars 2012. 2nd place went to Cay Fusion MC from Korea.

Thanks to everyone who attended and helped making Floor Wars 2012 two nights to remember!

The winners of the battles from friday night were Boris (DK) in 1 vs 1 All Style and Uzee Rock (Ukraine) in the 1 vs 1 b-boy battle. Boris will represent Denmark at the Just For Laughs 1 vs 1 All Style BAttle in Montreal, and Uzee Rock will go to the solo battles at R-16 in Korea. We are looking forward to another night of mind-blowing battle action – see you in Vega!

We are very pleased about the huge amount of registrations from all over the world. In fact, 70 crews have signed up from 30 different countries all around the globe. So we keep the high standards of last year and looking forward to see some amazing battles ahead of us again this year.

Without any main sponsors, this event is truly a b-boy event within the scene and without your support we couldn’t make it happen. So let’s set the marks once again high over the weekend to show all those who can’t make it that it’s a must.

For all dancers who are still undecided about their participation at this years event, you better make your mind up soon as we will close for sign-ups on thursday night (CET). All crews who signed up, will have to register their arrival at the venue before the battles starts (that’d be friday from 19:00 to 20:00 and saturday from 16:00 to 17:00). So make sure to be there in time!

We won’t have a sign-up at the event, only registration for the crews who signed up before hand. This is due to minimize the administrative work on the day and have a better preparation (so no offense please).
